International Building's Sushi Kikuzawa serves the best traditional sushi I know of. www.hungrygowhere.com/singapore/sushi_kikuzawa/The only problem is that if you're looking for them fancy Phoenix Rolls and new-age sushi, Sushi Tei will be the better option. Because the sushi served are all traditional, with no fancy bells and whistles. The key highlight is that they actually serve Fugu. Pufferfish sushi. As part of the buffet! Also, there's a novelty Singaporean twist to sushi that one can try if one passes an i-sushi outlet. ( www.isushi.com.sg/ ) They have chicken rice and nasi lemak sushi. I've actually tried those, and they aren't half bad. HAHA

There's one at Hougang Plaza too, Suki Sushi, it's 99 cents if u have a coupon( which they give everytime u eat there), else $1.20 per plate (Still cheap!) ... not too bad but the service could be quite slow.. but at least its one of the decent cheaper sushi available in sg =\
there's also $1 sashimi in the coupons too..

Nihonmura !!! I love their Grilled Salmon Head LOL, and their range of sushi is quite decent. Service's not bad too~~~ If you rather eat fresh sushi, you can request at the counter. I usually go to the one in the building opposite Velocity (then munch on DONUTS as dessert )

Watami at ION offers great food at cheap/affordable prices, I swear i could gobble up 3 pans of Gyoza by myself if i were to go there again >.< (But they dun offer sushi) ANyone have dining experience at Shin Kushiya before? heard that the bill is a whooping 50++ bucks for only 2 person

Shin Kushiya has a few branches in SIngapore, they specialize in grilled stuff, yakitori, i heard that they have the grilled onigiri too. But, yea, the price is a bit too far-fetched for poor college student like me...
